Definately has to be a nice drive somewhere. The road around my area are nice and lots of curvy and mountains but too bad it's too far away.

How bout the Calaveras drive in the mountain? I haven't been driven on that road for quite some time.

Oakland gets some badd pub!! LOL!

No worries Rob! All the spots I've mentioned are *safe*! Lakeshore and Redwood Road are nice areas. Alot of Oakland's million plus $ homes are located in this area (Skyline/Redwood Road). All those rich folks like to shop at Lakshore, Jack London Square, Piedmont & Montclair.

You already know about Emeryville and Treasure Island.

EDIT: Vest-up...just in case!

+1 vote for drive.

Although I've been to Calaveras too many times lol.... Mt. Hamilton road is nice but it might be a bit far for people coming from Oakland. Actually, depends on how much time people have, there's a road connecting from Livermore all the way down to Mt. Hamilton. Mines road I believe. I've never drove that road before but I've heard nice things about it.

Otherwise, a drive around rich Oakland neighborhood is fun too

anyway, lets have a side show in the parking lot. i'll also consider ghost riding the whip.

the glock and the vest will be in the car just in case.

i don't suggest mount hamilton. gone from the alemeda county side, to mt hamilton, and down to san jose twice. a ton of gravel on the road. and this was during the summer. since it's still winter, and there's some snow up there, i can only imagine it being worse.

my car will most likely be stock for the meet, since im going to hawaii for spring break, and thats gonna cost a whole lotta money. but i guess its gonna be worth the experience and time. so basically my car will prob look like any other e90 at the meet besides the cf front lip. we'll see though. hopefully i can find money laying around

Stock eh? Fortunately, BMW's even in stock form are wonderful cars! I mean it's not we are driving Hondas and having a mod-contest...DID I JUST SAY THAT OUT LOUD? As much (or little) as I'm modding my E90, I still feel somewhat stock compared to what I have done in the past, mod-wise. But as I go, I have a strange, conflicting feeling. I want to buy alot of things for the car on one hand, but I also don't want to deviate too much from stock and lose the "luxury" feel. So, I'm about at the end of the road, not too many more things to do because I am not modding the engine/exhaust/drivetrain and I'm not installing bodykits.

Ok, so I'm interested in doing this. I'm still kind of a newbie to the forum, got me an E90 two months ago.

So do i need to do anything else to signup?

I might be heading towards Tahoe instead that weekend, so not sure if I'll be able to make it. If I don't head for the mtns then will definitely show up.

I wanted to clarify that I meant to say the old ALBERTSON's parking lot instead of safeways.

Anyhow, what to you guys/gals think of the plan so far? Meetup, maybe take a few parking lot photos, grab some food at one of the shops around the parking lot and then going for a nice drive? We could either stop at Emeryville or continue out to Treasure Island? What do you people think?
