Wow....I like this matt white as well.
Turn my JB into matt white for about 2 years and come back to JB....wow.. I would rather take this mod instead of full exhaust or set of wheels...

Wow, I'm surprised how few people knew about this kind of thing. This is huge down in Cali, lots of exotics have matte black vinyl jobs. I've been considering doing my car in matte black for the past week, can't decide.

I'm reviving this to ask a simple question.
What happens at the door, trunk and hood where the original paint is visible? How far inside the car does this go? How is the transition made? Say, like the OP, your car is black but wrapped white. Where does the white end, and black begin? Any clear photos of the doors open would be incredibly informative. |

This is sooooooooooooooo cool. I am thinking about the matt black now. I just spend $5k on my audio system and this just feels like a bargain. 1500 for that entire setup is simply unbeatable.
Anyone know of any shops here on the east coast that can do a job like this. Im dying to get the matt black.. I just checked the websites and its $20 a linear foot(approx 1'x5')....so overall I doubt a person would need over than $300-400 worth of material for a car.. Then its just the time to install or the labor if you are geting it professionally installed. Im seriously dying over here.... |
