Interior Lights. Any advice for changing to LED bulbs? Looking for something brighter - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

Ordered interior bulbs from Jlevi and received them yesterday. installed a few and noticed that the "peanut" bulbs are not as bright as the original incandescent bulbs.

Have not tried the others yet but so far I am not impressed....

These were the most "upgraded" available for the interior on his website. I think the cost was roughly $140 for the entire set for the interior for the e93.

Has anyone found interior lights that are brighter and whiter than the originals?

This is the first we have heard of them being less bright than OEM. Perhaps it is just the difference in color between the pure white and OEM yellow?

Based on our tests and installs, the High Output is significantly brighter than OEM so I'm not sure what happened with his kit.

in this picture, the OEM def seems like it shines brighter or about the same.

That's because the LEDs are directional and facing away from the camera. Notice how the LED points are faced towards the xenon lettering.
