GP Thunders 7500K vs. 8500K

I've searched and searched, but I'm still confused as to which one to go with for my angel eyes.. My car is AW, and I want my angel eyes to be white, not really blue. I also want them to be noticable during the daytime.
Which ones do you guys recommend for me?

I would go for 7500k. I have 8500 and sometimes think it's too blue. I plan on changing them to 7500k.

I might go for Mtec this time, but some say it's not as bright as GP's in the daytime.

I got the 8500k right now and think it's perfect. It's not really blue and it matches the headlight perfectly.

I have both and prefer 7500k a bit better. But either one looks dim & yellow when compare to my 6500k hid fog.

IMO, the 8500K look better and match better with the headlights.... only when you're running the corner delete. I've tried both (7500K and 8500K) with and without corner delete.

Surprisingly, if you're running the amber corners it makes the 8500K look 'blue' and it really bleeds out on the 7500k and makes it looks slightly 'peach' color, IMO.

This is probably the best advice you can get.

Most people on here have never seen 7500k and 8500k together and all they have to compare is some photos from the forum. But being a photo geek i know that most people who take these photos use AUTO WHITE BALANCE on their cameras so the camera adjusts the photos color to come out white. This distorts the true color of the photo/angel eye so you never get a true sense of what the color is.

To those that say 7500 is yellow you have no idea what you are talking about and i challenge you to go see any 7500 h8 bulb and tell me its yellow.

i will give you the same advice i gave to those people that PM'd me and asked about 7500k bulbs
If you are concerned about day time visibility it should be no contest to get 7500k. When the angel eye bulb changing first came out, someone recommended GP Thunder 8500 and that is why EVERYONE gets it and its as if that is the standard. I figured that 7500 would be brighter so i bought them. Now whenever we go on cruises or at meets, EVERYONE (i am really not exagerating) asks me what angel eyes i have because it is significantly brighter then 8500. The higher you go on the kelvin scale, the less output/visibility

Wow Law! I think you convinced me to get the 7500K. I was thinking the same thing, as the kelvins go higher, the less output. The only reason I was still debating was because everyone was saying 7500k looks yellow. I want something white that would look great on Alpine white. I might be going with 7500K.

I will take a real picture for you tonight WITHOUT auto white balance to show you the true color of 7500k and you can decide for yourself if you like it.

Here's a side by side comparison of 7500 K vs 8500 K daytime I took today:

Driver side : 7500 K
Passenger : 8500 K

You can defn see the 7500 K better during the day, but only from straight on. From an angle, neither bulbs are really that visible.

Conclusion, the 7500K are a little more visible during the day than the 8500K, but of course not as visible as the stock yellow ones.

Its just the coating on the new bulb - nothing to worry about.
