I suspect you're showing codes 29F4 Cat conversion and 29F5 Cat conversion bank 2 Angel will require a re visit to remove this function, which I had done you can clear the code it'll return say within 30-50 miles if that basically the function has been removed with the catless pipes in situ ECU needs to know that's all, had mine done absoultly perfect since

it should be very straightforward for them to do they'll know the area that needs working on but more importantly perhaps while they are present they'll be able to tweak the map to suit the fact that the catless pipes are allowing a better flow which is what Simon at E-Maps was able to do for me

Surely you were going to get it remapped anyway. No point fitting DPs and not raise the boost!

14psi generally

With 99ron and an intercooler you could push to 17psi. I'd recommend a jb4 rather than a map...

The JB4 will also clear your emission light.

Cars always run on Esso super il find out what the boost settings are with Angel later .Would the car need to have the standard map on if I was to go down the jb4 route ?

Could he not run the "back end flash" route..? Leaving the Angel map on the DME while running the JB4?
This way he would have all the benefits of the JB while keeping his Angel map.

The angel map is a standalone remap not a backend flash. You could use map 6 to just add more boost and/or control meth but this would be for advanced users only..
