How long at dock before shipping? - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

I'm wondering how long is the max that a car might sit at the dock waiting for a boat? Mine has been at the dock for a week and BMWNA says it is usually a week and a half. However, it sounds like most recent experiences here are only a few days wait.

i think ships sail every 3-4 days. so it depends how many cars are in front of yours on queue. if it doesn't get on the first ship, you gotta wait another ~4 days and hopefully then it will get on board and start coming your direction.

Thanks. I just checked again and it did get loaded on boat yesterday.

Should have it here mid march.

For the West Coast ships leave every ten days. I don't think ships are leaving every 3-4 days for the East Coast.

I was waiting around Christmas/New Years so I waited 8 calendar days but typically 3-5 days is about normal for East coasters.
