Interpreting MHD Datalogs

I wrote the document below for my own benefit when I still had my 335 and I was trying to learn more about how the DME operates, how the MHD tune works and how to interpret the datalogs. I've moved on from the 335 platform but I thought this guide could be helpful to others.

This is simply a collection of notes, a very basic guide at most, it's not a comprehensive document. But it should help those new to MHD tunes and should hopefully cut down on the amount of repetitive questions being asked on the MHD General Discussion Thread (http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1096247).

The point of this document is not to start a which tune is best battle either. I chose MHD for my own reasons and was very happy with my decision.

Martial (MHD Tuning) reviewed this document before I shared it and provided some input and corrections THANK YOU MARTIAL

So without further ado please see the link below:

http://docdro.id/IyQ24N5

If you guys notice any major issues or corrections that need to be made please let me know.

Nice summary, thanks for putting this together. Hopefully the peeps that are new to MHD or tuning in general will take the time to read and comprehend the concepts in the guide written by the OP.

Can't wait to do some pulls this weekend and figure out what the logs actually mean. Thanks OP (and Martial).

Awesome post!!

Would you be able to add min and max values for wgdc section and what % they relate to? May be helpful to the community.

Thanks!!

Great write-up! Thanks for sharing.

I'm running a MHD Stage 0 v7 at the moment.
Planning for a FBO, but first want to make sure everything is healthy under the hood.

In every log I notice an closing throttle while my pedal is completely floored. Tracion control is off. I've read in your write up this should be minimized in V7. Is this normal behavior?
