brand new KWv3 shock came blown

So we installed the front/rear driver side, went to go pick up the other rear from the box and fluid just starts leaking everywhere. The bottom seal was broken, and now KW has to send me a new one. Seriously, how often does this happen? Just my luck to get a perfectly brand new blown/broken shock

We ended up putting that blown shock on the car because no way we were gonna take off what we already had done. When they ship me a new one i'll just swap the shock.

In other news, this is how the 335xi should look from the factory Aside from the blown shock, i'm happy.

That looks like a great drop. Did they keep everything relative heights front and rear?

Love the drop I have the same car, I have the 18's and the extra oil cooler. How hard was the install? I am going to do mine myself.

if you've done a coilover install before then you should be able to do this. it'll take a bit longer but its nothing crazy.

That's some bad luck. How much gap between the tire and fender do you have? Looks like a 2-finger gap?

sorry to bring up an old thread, but I'm considering the KWv3's too. What settings did you set them at? Also did you get an alignment done soon after install?

Sorry to hear that happen. So rare that happens. Any updates? Hope everything ended up working out, KW is awesome with their warranty.
