Question: SSTT with DP???? No gain?

So, I did research "downpipes" with "SSTT" and saw some posts saying there's no gain with SSTT with downpipes due to SSTT's restriction on turbo boost? Is it true?
I am considering getting the SSTT now and then downpipes after first service. But right now Im unsure about whether I should get the SSTT. I am not considering JB or procede. I don't wanna mess with all the wires and stuff. Any suggestions guys?

Mods I have on my car now: Helence filter, bastuck quad and borla cat-delete pipes.

Thanks in advance

With, that amount of money I really think you should just go the JB3 or V3 route with an intake and some 100 octane gas when you go for some funner runs. I love my SSTT but the documented gains with DP's don't justify the cost and effort of getting these put in.

JB3 or V3 with DPs for sure. Don't waste your time/money with the SSTT

Send a message via AIM to darkphantom
dude, how are you still with an SSTT if you have DPs, quads,etc...??

Jump on the JB3 and get the PNP (if you're not a hands on guy in the ECU box...)

To answer your question, though, if the downpipes make a gain on a stock engine (w/o any tune), it will sure give you a gain with SSTT. The better the tune, the higher the gains.

How about with the SSTT alone with the mods I have on my car? Will I feel any gains tho? I don't need huge horsepower gain, but rather have a new feeling towards the car if you know what I mean.

Yes you will, but you will get tired of it fast, like me, So go get 100 octane, intake, Dp's, and your striaght

Honestly when people around me said, that moding is very addicting and etc... I never believed it. I thought buying few things would be enough, but I was wrong, one mod leads to another until your a.) Broke or b.) nothing to mod. when I got my car, I was like Im going to get tints and exhaust and thats it. Lol look at my sig, and I have stuff coming in...

Go to the track. You won't need more power.

And don't they have Dyno's showing gains with DP's with a stock tune?

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."
