Still waiting to hear if a movie ive got to reshoot in LA is being scheduled for that bloody weekend - should know before i go on holiday this thursday - then i will make a 100% commitment to this Ring trip.

I may well have the E30 back on the road by then starting a bit of work on it today but somehow doubt it. If I can though it will be coming to UK6!

Got to get Midgie through Wednesdays MOT first yikes!

In reality I doubt I can make this anyway, probably another time

Doubt next year as wel due to agreeing to lots of different trips already!

Right, great news (for me!!) - my movie isnt being re-shot til Oct - so i am DEFINITELY coming on this Ring trip. Im going to first look into a hotel - and then once that is sorted i will book the Eurotunnel. Im off to polish my helmet - Yippee!!!

All booked up - Eurotunnel crossing on Sat 6th at 08.50am and returning on Mon 8th at 20.20pm - ive booked my wife and i into the hotel i stayed at last weekend with all the boys - its a pro biker hotel but really cosy and friendly and i liked the people who run it - its about 20 mins from the Ring. Cant wait!!!!

Good news!! Nearer the time, we'll have to work out where to meet up on the way down to the Tunnel

Tony, I know the Ring changes its opening times all the time but at the moment on Monday (8th), the track does not open until 17:15 in the evening. I will have left for the tunnel by then!

If the opening time remains as so I wondered if we could utilise the daytime by visiting Michael Schumacher's karting centre in Kerpen? I went last year with the EvoT boys and it is brilliant. What do you think? Got any contacts through your brother who could help organise something for us?

Ahhh bugger, didn't realise the 'Ring had changed the opening time

Still never mind, the karting centre is a great idea. Will see what we can organise and will report back asap

I think Boof has organised to meet the EvoT guys at the tunnel. I'm based in Canary Wharf, which isn't a million miles from you...
