Is it just me, or is the availablity of E90 aftermarket stuff coming slower than the E46 stuff, when the E46 was first introduced?

It is quite the opposite if you ask me. The E46 came out in late 1998 I believe and it took the market much long to respond than it has with the E90. Heck, software from TMS came out only 2 years ago I believe. It just takes time, the E90 has not even been out for a full year and the amount of product on the market compares quite favorably I would think with the amount of product on the market during the first year of the E46's release. My .02 cents anyway.

For the 330i, you are probably right. In a non-FI car, there really isn't much that one can do, if the system is already optimized. In the NA 325i, however, there is obviously room for 3rd party products to improve performance, since the 325i is a detuned version of the 330i.

the intakes are the same, but its the intake manifold that are the reason for the power increase. or in our case, power deficit<--is that how you spell it, i forgot...
