My new 335xi E92

I posted these in my ship tracking thread as well, but I decided I should post them here too.

They had a M6, M5 and an M Coupe in the showroom last night at RS...

The M6 was one of the dealership's owner's cars. It had 4600 miles on it, sticker was 102 or something, and they were selling it for 82 or so... It was red with a carbon fiber roof. I thought it was ugly, but the M5 was beautiful. 90+ I think.

Congratulations on the new car, Appropriate! She looks sharp!

And LOL @ parking right by Elitch Gardens.

That reminds me... now that I actually have a decent camera on my phone, I think it may be time to take some pics of my car. 13,000 miles on her, and not a decent photo yet. I should be ashamed to call myself a E90Post member....

Yeah, I think you posted pics by Union Station previously... I live in Creekside. There is someone else in my building or the next one who drives a Monaco blue 335xi E92 as well.

Thx. I've decided against chipping or Dinan. It has more than enough power for me. I'm happy with it... and not having to put anymore money into it!

Was it something to do with the on-board computer now being able to store info about seeing chips for later retreival by BMW service peeps?

Ralph Schomp is a GREAT dealership, thats where I got my car too! Murrahy Motors like to profile people when you go look at their cars

I started looking at Murray, and quickly decided they can go pound sand

Ralph Schomp was great from the beginning to the end, even just yesterday my sales guy helped me make an appointment for the alarm install...and on his day-off

They are okay, I wasn't overly impressed by my rep's knowledge about the car. Of course, maybe we just all know more than most salespeople.

hey appropriate... just looked at the pics of your car again, and noticed how tall the shifter was... I suggest getting the SSK kit... makes a huge difference. The CDV is quite nice as well although it's barely noticeable if you've already grown accustomed to the way it shifts..

heres a pic of my SSK installed.

I actually changed mine to the aftermarket chrome round shifter from the catalog and it itself is much shorter.

I think you're completely right, we all read and study about our cars soooo much (I often refer to it as a disease )....most Rep's seems to know what they need to know to sell the cars but not be experts...

I managed to get a pic of my new e92 with my old e39 this past weekend at the car control clinic....

Just ordered these new center caps... have already noticed that the grey rubber outer edge of the old ones changes color due to dirt etc... these new ones are just cleaner...

http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...hlight=783+536

Will post pics of before/after when I get them in and put on...

Got OEM ones off e-bay for $26 delivered...
