Safe to drive with big hole in sidewall???
Dumbass me, I turned a corner too sharp on the way home today and banged into the curb with my right rear tire. Stopped to take a look, and the curb ripped a chunk right out of the sidewall. The bead and tread are still intact, but the hole is about 2.5" square. Is it safe to drive about 5 miles to the tire store tomorrow morning?

a couple of weeks?!? wow. It's making a noise like one of the popcorn popper toys little kids push around. I think I'll go straight to the tire store. Thanks.
