dsc problem help.. - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

i replaced my abs pump with a pump out of a 335i e92 hit from rear.. my dsc malefaction light came on they said my dsc module was bad.. sooo i installed the new/used(from the other 335i) dsc/abs pump and i kept getting some codes for vavles something.. then i put my old dsc module on the new abs pump.. cleared codes worked perfect. 10 miles later this light came on.. i have no idea wtf is going on help.. these are codes that came up?? does it have to be recoded agian or whats the deal ?

Throwing codes 5df1 and 5df0 and my abs pump is new as well I used my old module so I wouldn't have to program so I'm guessing it's module ??

Whoa, back up. Why did you start replacing parts in the first place? What was the problem? Are you sure the two units are the same? You can have either DSC from Bosch or ATE/Continental.

I tried the $1200 (msrp) 'repair kit' which I think is just the control module... Didn't work, they couldn't prime the system. Ended up being the $2200 DSC module, which is the entire pump/controller assembly. No problems anymore.

You can search, I had a couple posts in some threads a while ago detailing what I went through.

i dont think its that.. it went away when i cleared codes and everything worked cruise control so on.. then it came back on.. 5 miles later saying connecter problem im thinkin its the module :\

my question is can you reprogram another module ?? thats not under your vin number form another 335i ?

ttt can someone please help, i have a appt tuesday to "try" to code it with the GT1 and reclear codes hopefully codes dont come back.

I left my Bentley manual at a friends place, but if I remember it does have to be coded.

I took my car to get coded they said that it is up to date ?? it's a indie shop that had a gt1 ?? I really don't wanna buy a new dsc module/abs but if I have to i might...
