Not just customs, if the VPC needs to do any work, that's another delay point. June 10 may not be impossible though. Oh man, if I can have my car by the weekend, that would be amazing!!

I'm in Villanova so not far at all. I havent really harassed my CA at all so I am hoping to start doing that this week and see if I cant get my delivery scheduled. How will taking delivery and the Performance Center affect your delivery date? Just a bit later in the week of the 9th?

I actually don't know... I don't need a vehicle overview, since I did a European Delivery, which means they are more likely to squeeze me into a day I request. I'd assume that it is at least one week or two weeks extra, but the PC sounds too cool to pass up.

Nice, I just finished Law school there, I went to Bucknell undergrad, '03 as well. Looks like we have pretty damn similar cars, any mods planned? I already have my Black Lines from Tischer here waiting patiently...

I have my Valentine1 ready to be hardwired, and I want to put in the sunglasses tray since I don't smoke. Also, I want to display my Zoll plate from Europe, so I ordered the Skene Design front plate bracket that screws into the bottom of the bumper, leaving no visible holes if I change my mind.

I'm seriously considering Tint (35%) and overlays for the amber reflectors in the front.

Other things I'd like, but won't happen in the near term, would be Lux angel eyes, and the M3-style spoiler. I thought about blacklines too, but haven't made the decision if I really like them better or not (it would be best if I can see them in person).

Yeah I would like to get the m3 lip spoiler also, and possibly Lux. Tint might be the first thing I do when I get the car. I have 3 or 4 other friends who are interested in getting tints (2 of them bimmers) and we planned on looking into a Shades of Gray group buy within a month. I havent decided how dark I want to go yet but I was thinking on the lighter side (15-25%) although with the Terra interior I hear it looks strange if it isnt dark enough to block that out.

I have a passport X50 now and it has been adequate, Ive spent several thousand miles (cross country and back) with a V1 and of course they are great also. I'm starting to have some problems with my X50 with power surges triggering false laser alarms so I may invest in a V1 but I'm waiting to see if the power spikes are just a problem with my Infiniti and not the detector (although I've read online of similar problems with other X50s).

You should definitely go for the blacklines - you can see mine soon. I was also considering the OEM painted splitters, havent decided if they are enough of a difference for the price. But the main thing I will need is wheels, I only got the 17" sport package, which I like because they are uncommon, but lets face it, there is nothing agressive or sporty about them. Unfortunately I dont think I'm going to be spending that kind of cash until next spring though, hopefully on an OEM set of 197s, 189s, 199s or CSLs.

Back on topic... Anyone know why Sailwx wouldn't have newer information? Do the ships only start providing tracking information when they clear the mainland (Our ship left England on the 25th)?

I noticed that tracking wasnt working either (thats where the location is like 8 days old right?) But the WW site seems to be working, albeit with a 2 hour delay. Looks like we are heading into the English Channel.

Just to point out, tint is based on how much light is let through, so 15%-25% is actually close to limo tint, so you probably meant 70% tint, although my opinion is anything less than 50% isn't worth the investment... I think 50% is the legal limit in PA also, and I don't know how that works with leases if you go darker, like 35% or 40% like I'm considering.

Your right on the tints, I meant 70% I guess. I really have no frame of reference as to what any of these #s translate to in person. A friend of mine got his Audi done at Shades of Gray, I'm going to have to check his out and see what he got.
I assumed as far as the lease goes, tints are easy enough to take off, but again, I know very little about tinting (obviously).

It looks like your right about SailWX, hopefully Integrity will be showing up on there in the next day or so, that full screen map shows progress much better.

My coupe is on board, scheduled to get to NY on June 3rd, confirmed with my CA, and he also said it will get there by then. Said i should be taking delivery by the mid. to end of next week. Im in CT by the way. This is my 5th BMW and he has always been right on with the timing. Baring any unknown road problems i do believe i should be rolling that black beauty out by next Friday Night!!

Based on past car purchases, the car will have to go through a checklist at the dealership. I wonder what it's like in my case, which is a Euro Delivery.

What dealership did you purchase from...Hunterdon? or Flemington? Just wondering cause I bought from Hunterdon and should be taking delivery in a few weeks.
