Need some measurements

Hi all,

I'm about to re-badge my car and would appreciate the assistance of a fellow E90 owner to give me some measurements so I can ensure correct placement of the 320i badge. While I like the clean look without the badge, last week I painted them black and it came out so good that I want to put it on the car. I'm looking for -:

Height above the boot lip:
Distance from right edge of boot to the bottom of the "i":
Distance between the numbers:

Much appreciated.

23mm above the boot lip. (the lip above the rego plates)
192mm to the "i" from the right.
11mm between the "i" and the last number.
7mm between the numbers.

Hope this helps! Send a picture of your painted badge when installed!!!

Thanks Brad. Wheels are Velocity Motoring V-714. 225/35/19 front (8" rim) and 265/30/19 rear (9" rim). Purchased through Jlevisw.com. They are a sponsor on this site. Easy transaction. The quality and finish is right up there.

Decided to also give the badges a spray of clear coat as well. Below is the finished result.

Gee that looks different!

The rear of your car looks awesome - the lip, the plates, badge, blacklines...

Have to see your car in the flesh b4 I go!

1. Sanded the fake chrome off with some wet and dry sandpaper.
2. Painted 4 thin coats of gloss black hi-temp paint.
3. 2 thin coats of hi-temp clear and put in oven for 5min at 200 deg for last coat (yes ... i'm serious)
4. Apply double sided 3M black automotive tape and carefully trim with Stanley knife making sure you dont nick into the newly painted surface.

I had the paint left over from my last car where I painted the calipers black and clear coated them so it didn't cost me anything to try this. - Cheap Mod!!!
