Any additional paperwork? - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

Picking up a new e92 soon and I already put 1k down on my credit card. Thinking about putting another 9500 cash down and 5k check. Is there any additional paperwork I need to file for putting in over 10k down payment? This is my first time I'm putting in over 10k in a purchase so I'm not sure what the procedure is. Thanks for the help~

If you are buying, why would you want to increase your down payment? There is no advantage in giving money to the dealer early.

Cause I can save interest if I put more money in and finance less? Not really trying to have a debate on how much money to put down in a finance.

Are you talking about the declaration of where you got your money from if you put over 10k in cash? I know if you put down 9k in cash and 5k in check you do not need to fill out that form. I'm not sure how credit card works though. I'm guessing you don't need to if you put down 1k in your credit card and 9k in cash because you're still only bringing in less than 10k in cash value but I'm not really positive.
