H&R Sport Springs for 330xi
Hi Guys,
I have been talking a lot with James at Creative Autoworks and I have come to the conclusion that it is possible to drop my 330xi. Even if you go to the H&R website (www.hrsprings.com), it clearly states that Sport Spring with part number 50494 is built for the 325/330xi. Just wanted some comments on this because I am still not sure if it is safe to drop an XI by 1.3". If it isn't, would it be recommended to opt for 20" wheels instead of 19" as some people have mentioned the 'monster truck' effect. I do feel a little uncomfortable with 20" wheels just because of a far greater drop in ride quality and the need to avoid every small pothole in the world. Thanks. |

Hey Kanishkl,
Check out Paullaj's AW xi on 19" M5 replicas in the thread below. I think it looks great without a drop. Also you can compare Titanum06's i on the same 19" wheels in the pics above it. You can hardly tell a difference. Niether car has sp. IMO they both look smokin hot. After checking them out you may not feel you need a drop. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...0&page=3&pp=22 , |

there is a set of sport spring on ebay for the e90 I guess that will be safer if you dont want to drop it with H&R and keep the factory Sport drop.
