Sounds high IMO, but you haven't given us the residual, mileage allowance, of MF.

I'll speculate that BMW has had problems with residuals and resale with the downturn in the economy so they might have lowered residuals, on new cars, to stave off potential future losses. This is in addition to a reduction in capacity. Per Roundel, BMW is going to reduce availability on new cars. This will also help strengthen used values.

For comparison, my 330 lease (A/T, PP, Sprt) is $600/mo on a 3yr/36k mile program and ZERO DOWN.

My $02.

too high. you should be getting crazy good deals with the way gas prices are right now.

i got a 07 328i last july with sports package, steptronic, comfort access, navigation, red leather seats and logic7 premium sound and my payment is $627.11.

3 years/15k as well. $1000 drive off. no security deposits. no cap cost reduction.

Go here- leaseguide.com/calc.htm- and play around with the numbers until you get one that you think is reasonable. It's pretty accurate so don't let the salesman tell you that it's not.

ask him for the final sales price vs invoice price, money factor, residual, break down of drive off $, and security deposits.

you should only be paying a few hundred over invoice. i paid $360 over invoice so theres no reason you can't get anywhere close to that right now. look up june lease rates too.

You apparently missed the part where BMW raised the lease rates ~25% at the beginning of June. They were losing a fortune on residuals. Lucky you if you already financed.

All these quotes with no clarifications - Taxes included?, agreed upon purchase price, mf total down etc. How can you possibly compare?

Here's mine:

335xi sedan, premium, sport, cold weather, Ipod.

Agreed upon purchase price - 46,500
39 month lease - mf 230. 12000 miles
$1000 cap reduction

Payment before taxes $601.

are leases that expensive now?!?!

I am paying mid 600 for 3year/15k for 08 335, leather, sport package and bullshit "Safe lease insurance" which was rolled into my lease. Tax is included.

oh yea, ~3.3k due at signing which included a security deposit + first payment + slight down payment.
