Question KDS Question

I want to get a KDS (4 wheel alignment) done on the car. Who would you recommend in the Berkshire/Middlesex areas? Likely cost?

Never heard about new tyres needed, but you do need to have original (i.e. BMW) wheels.

The KDS system is bloody expensive and you'd need a well-appointed indy to have the Hunter Engineering(??) equipment.

The BMW Dealer in Watford currently has a special offer on for KDS - 190!

I had 4 new tyres put on yesterday so I ought to get it done too as the previous set were badly worn at the edges.

here is the link to their website http://www.pmwltd.co.uk/, the equpment used is the Hunter kit.
I have not heard a bad word said about them. I have no connection with the company other than being a satisfied customer.

I had a KDS done by BMW the last time I was in Scotland - 100.

You Southerners certainly pay through the nose ! But that is undoubtedly due to big shiny showrooms and labour rates.

I had mine done at Feltham Tyres (0208 890 7138) after having my springs swopped back in November.

Cost was 81.24.

They have a branch in Slough too - 01753 530021

I use PMW, I didn't know they had the Hunter. I've always been happy with their customer service too but I always ask for the guy who worked at Lind / Coopers in Chelmsford to work on my car.

Supertyres in Maldon also have a Hunter machine. Ensure that the car is weighted to simulate yourself plus other half (as required) to get the best results. I don't believe this is done with KDS.
