BMW is planning on launching three very important cars in the lineup this year, heres the word ....

7-Series

Chasis code F01, the first vehicle of the new "F" designation will arrive with a dramatic change in styling and improvements all around. The most notable change will be that the car will be much more 'elegant' after the much discussed criticisms of the current car's styling. To be seen at the Paris Autoshow this fall.

The 1-series based Crossover/SAV/SUV has already been confirmed to be built at Leipzig and is being planned to launch towards the end of 2009. To be seen at the Paris Autoshow this fall.

Z4

The second generation of the Z4 is set to be revealed this fall in 'concept' form, which is basicly a production car that has not been officially annouced yet. It is unclear if this 'concept' car will join it's brothers at the Paris show or shortly thereafter. The car is said to be heavily influenced by the recently revealed GINA concept (or vice-versa). The official car is expected to arrive at the Geneva show in 2009.

BMW has certainly been increasing the number of new products being revealed at a given autoshow and its ramping up for their largest launch yet this fall.

Actually I noticed that the Gina's hoodlines, rear, and profile match up well with the camo'd Z4's that have been spied.

Can't wait to see these two models, as well the FL'd e90.

damn guys. our cars are going to become the "old" models soon. ohh its so painful to say, it destroys my heart.

I'm just going by what the dealer said....I also go the information from the June 08 edition of Automobile magazine page 20 in the ignition news section. It stated that a refresh is going to be coming out for the 09 3 series potentially as early as this summer with a possible Tii version coming out in the 1 and 3 series. However this summer seems optistic considering the factory shuts down for a month in the summer it probably would make sense to come out in october time frame.....

The Gina concept has actually existed for more than six years. BMW just decided to show it to the public now.
