center jack point

Does the 335xi have a front center jack point? When I change the oil I notice what I think is a jack point.

Yes, there is a center jacking point on front of car. I'll have to grab a pic or illustration as explaining would be harder to do.

I don't think we're gonna find one. This is a BMW car not a Chev P/U truck. It is unibody design. There really are no frame rails that one can put a jack to. Also the diffs are not made like a p/u so you cannot jack by the diff.

Actually, I feel kinda stupid cuz the center jack point in the front is pretty damn obvious. I used it this weekend when I did a couple mods. Just lay down and look under your front bumper. A foot or two back right down the middle you'll see piece of metal that is about an inch deep and four or five inches wide. That's the center jack point. It's pretty obvious because with all the plastic covers/shielding, it's the only thing metal that you can see under the front of the car. I'll see if I can take a picture when I get home today and post it up here.

Yep, that the one I use in the front. You can use the rear diff as long as the jack is squarely on the rear diff.
