Looks and sounds good

I doubt the ram-air effect of the scoops affected the static dyno testing since the hood was popped open, and the fans are always blowing toward the scoop anyways.

The difference is in the decreased resistance of air flow into the engine, presumably from the air filter and the large volume under the CF shield that reduces negative pressure. I suspect that the overall surface area of the K&N filter is greater than that of the flat surface of the OEM one.

I also suspect that there is a point of diminishing returns when it comes to decreased intake resistance as we have seen with dyno testing of other intake designs (e.g., Fujita), and with the addition of the larger throttle body in conjunction with the GruppeM intake. I saw no increase with the larger throttle body (T.B.), and perhaps even a slight decrease in torque and power, so I went back to OEM on the T.B.

Ksfrogman, the fan simulates going at speeds of 5-7 RPMs. So the best benefit of that air scoop will do greatly at speeds of 50+mph. So I assume you will also include debunking the next intake system by Injen?
