Joyriide Detailed: E90 328i, E92 M3, and E92 335i

Joyriide Detailed: E90 328i

This is a return client, needing another maintenance job done to his car. He has not washed it since its last maintenance wash 4-6 weeks ago and it showed. He's been out of town, driving all over, and generally does nto have much time to maintain it. Car is getting a fresh detail in the next 3-4 weeks. Paint needs some claying and light polishing. This car was a bug cemetary.

Exterior

Meguiars Gold Class Wash
Claymagic Blue (parts of the front bumber, windshield and mirrors).
Zaino Z6

P21S Wheel Gel on rims and exhaust
Meguiars Super Degreaser
Meguiars Hyper Dressing

---------------------------------------------------------

Joyriide Detailed: E92 M3 (new car prep)

This car had just rolled off production. Owner literally picked it up at 9am and had it at my place by 11am or so. No hesitation, this owner knows the importance of precaution and quality detailing. Owner requested the vehicle not be washed. Car still had shipping wax all in the jams, parts of the wheels, and under the hood along the gaps. Other than a light paint cleaning and polishing this car was perfect.

Exterior

Goldclass Wash
Claymagic Blue
ZAIO and ZPC mixed 1:1 via finishing pad @ 1000 rpms
Zaino Z2pro
Zaino Z6

P21S Wheel Gel
Zaino Z2pro on wheels and glass
Zaino Z16 on tires
Zaino ZAIO on exhaust
Black Magic Matte Tire Dressing on engine

Interior

Zaino ZAIO on door jams
BMW Leather Care
303 Aerospace

The carbon fiber weave of the roof was FLAWLESS!

--------------------------------------------------------

Joyriide Detailed: E92 335i (new car prep)

This was a late booking. Owner was anxious to pick up his car which got to Miami Saturday from VPC in North Carolina. He heard all the dealership horror stories and was not going to risk it with his Black Saphire coupe. Ironically, he had the same CA (Customer Advisor) I did when I ordered my car back in December of 2006. When he asked the CA not to touch the car and to leave all wrapping still on it, the CA said not a problem, that he's had one client request the same thing a year or so before. Turns out he was my CA and knew exactly how to leave it. Really funny considerinh how big Miami is. Since the owner picked up the car a day before the detail, he immediately took it to get tinted. Huper Optik 30 all over the sides and back and Huper Optik 60 on the windshield. Very Classy I must say. Car was perfect none the less. Owner was the coolest guy to work around with nothing but interest and respect for the work done.

Exterior

Gold Class Wash
Mothers Yellow Clay
Zaino ZPC and Zaino AIO mized 1:1 via green CCS pad @ speed 6 on the PC.
Zaino Z5pro
Zaino Z6
Exhaust, Glass, and wheels with Zaino ZAIO and Z5pro.
Zaino Z16 on tires.
Meguiars Hyper Dressing 1:1 on engine and fender wells.

Interior

BMW Leather Care
303 Aerospace
Meguiars APC+ on small smudging on headliner
Invisible Glass (lightly on frshly tinted windows)
Zaino ZAIO on door jams

This weekend's cars were all BUTTER! Well deserved considering all the nasty stuff and heavy correction I've had to do recently. Nice to work on fresh well maintained cars, allows you to focus and emphasize more on the small things that are commonly overlooked or not paid too much attention to.

I just detailed a well maintained 335i E92 myself, but it still takes loads of time... It was 90-100 degrees in my garage too. haha But man great work on all of them. And I love the new M3 especially that combo.

No. Although I'm sure I could've pulled it off.

The Black 328i from 8am-10am Saturday.
The M3 from 11am-4:30pm Saturday.
The 335i from 9am-1:30pm Sunday (today)...

We've had crazy storms, high degree temps, and 100% humidity every day this week. Zaino Z5pro would NOT dry. I need to give it 3 complete wipe downs 15 minutes apart. I applied it thin too.

what did you apply on the steering wheel on the last picture? 303 and bmw leather care? It doesn't make it greasy? Or maybe the gloomy day made it look like that? nice job on all cars

BMW Leather Car. Nope, its as dry as a bone. Like most leather products, its water based, so once absorbed or evaporated, its very dry to the touch. The picture was taken with flash.

The gloomy day soo turned into a wash out.

This detailer is a gentleman and a class act. A pleasure to hang around for the entire process.
Add one more extremely satisfied customer to a list that I'm sure is extensive and will undoubtedly continue to grow. . .
I will be calling again in a few months for another session. . . . and I promise to keep the car in as close to the condition you left it in . . . I had a "talk" with my girlfriend about the car and how it doesn't get along with her purses, high heels, jewelry, and accessories (including friends).

Excellent work as usual! Glad to hear you got a break from the usual jobs you do. Hopefully the owners of the new cars will be coming back to you to keep them in that shape.

Excellent job man! All those cars came out great!

What do you think of the BMW Leather Care? Would you prefer it over the Sonus products or the Zaino leather products? Also, I have never tried the 303 protectant, does it leave any type of gloss? I am thinking of trying it out but I am afraid it will leave some sort of gloss or shimmer. I just love the stock matte look.

Again, GREAT job!

Hmmm. It doesn;t necessarily add "gloss" but it does darken the trim to an extent. I was contemplating not even applying anything to the plastic on the 335i coupe, but the owner felt it was necessary so i went ahead and did it. It is a very matte look none the less. I apply and buff off.

BMW's leather care kit never really wowed me, but it never disappointed me either. The leather was left soft, with a natural sheen. I would have preferred Zaino Z10 but some folk don't enjoy the smell like I do. The M3 owner specifically requested it so thankfully I still had some from before.

Thanks for the reply bro!

I think I will try the Zaino and Sonus leather care products and see which one works better for me.
