Anybody ever saw a Carrera GT *in action*? - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

Spotted a yellow Porsche Carrera GT cruising around the streets this morning

***It may still be there!***

In La Jolla, driving into the Hyatt. Must be some extremely rich celeb/actor/CEO staying for a bit in the penthouse suites of the Hyatt.

We had one come into work. A bunch of rich ass guys came in together. Had one of those, 2 Ferrari's, 2 lambos, and a Bentley GT. The restaurant looked pretty in front with them all.

I didn't think the GT would even be allowed to cruise in the U.S. due to emissions...similar to the 959. So it took me offguard when I saw one speeding on the roads.

Yeah I didn't think that was a car many people would have. It was a shock when I see this lineup of exotic cars come in one after the other

lol, there are too many Carrera GTs sitting in dealers' showrooms due to Porsche making too many.

There was a black carrera GT at my work, i spotted it from my desk. It was amazing. I wouldnt mind cruising in it...

A silver GT always drive around Irvine. He lives up sand canyon in the gated quail hill community, where houses are $7 mil plus. It's sold old white guy with gray hair.

My wife & I spotted one at the Home Depot a few weeks back. It was parked at the far end of the lot,... rather odd to see a half million dollar car parked at a DIY store

he is in the real estate world. Basically he buys, renovates, and resells apartments, hotels, etc. He also has a Ferrari 360 Modena Spyder and a Porsche Targa.

There are a few floating around La Jolla but as odd as it sounds, they are old news. People who are rich want the newest and hottest car, I have a customer who already had the F430 coupe and spyder months ago and sold them. BTW I got to ride in a CGT a year and a 1/2 ago and it was breath taking! The guy drove it VERY hard and I was super light headed and my hands were numb when I got out lol. Also got to watch the guy do a 0-180mph on the 73 toll road in OC. I know someone in La Jolla with an Enzo but haven't gotten a ride yet

I've seen several Ferrari's in Italy and a complete collection at the Ferrari Museum in Modena. No Carrera GT sightings so far...

I saw an F430 Spyder last week. Took pics with my camera phone but I haven't uploaded them. It sounded sooo nice, bright red.

Anyhoo- I see a bunch of expensive cars around here all the time. I saw a few Bentleys the other day. Ferraris, Lambos, and Rolls Royces roll around once every few weeks.
