metallic ticking noise when popping on reverse - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

undercarriage noise when shifting into drive and reverse. It also makes a noise when accelerating from a full stop. It is something to do with the tranny but im not sure what. A mechanic the other day said it was a slippage by just listening.. what do you guys think?
