Question cleaning the engine???

the other day i popped the hood of the car & saw how gross my engine looks. i live across from the beach so all this dust & sand gets blown everywhere.

anyone know a good way to clean the engine? what product should i use? process? the engine has some thick dust everywhere and only some of it is coming off.

all the input i can get. thanks!

Use a degreaser, spray with water, dry, then treat the plastic and rubber. Here's a decent primer on cleaning the engine bay: http://www.autopia.org/forum/guide-d...detailing.html

I use CG Grime reaper and I'm going to get some P21S TAW later just to try. For now, Grime Reaper has not failed me
