petrol in my diesel
I just managed to put 4 ltrs off petrol in my TD5 Land rover before realising then put 60 ltrs of diesel in to dilute it .
Land rover holds 75 ltrs I hope the 4 ltrs will be diluted enough to cause no real harm I just spoke to a AA guy he said it be ok not ideal but seams to drive ok , Any advice ? or just dont worry as its now done and been driven . |

You'll be fine with that, maybe a bit sluggish to start in the morning. My advice would be use a 1/4 then refill - Do this twice, then use the whole tank and change the fuel filter, then brim with diesel again - Sorted

Yes all good thanks, even though for the first 12 days of ownership, it sat at the dealers awaiting a new propshaft! - I broke it using launch control.....Still thats all forgotten about now Ive got it back - A truly awesome bit of kit

I did see the pics off it being loaded on to the recovery truck , What plans do you have for it , Or can this be left alone ?
