NY/NJ Meet: April 22/23 : Who wants to go? - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

Hello To All,

-I know that there were some Meet threads in the past....but I want this one to count...

-Who is serious about setting up/going to a meet on Sat. April 22 or Sun. April 23?

-Please Reply with Yes, I want to go, or No I cant make it that weekend...
-Please Reply with what day works best for you (Out of the 2 days above).
-Please Reply with suggestion for Location.

-I will Add up all of the posts in a Spreadsheet and post it on here...we only have Aprox. 4 weeks so lets make this happen....I's love to meet most of you in person and feel like I know some of you already.....

Still the matter of location looming over us.

It would be nice if BringsMe's suggestion works but campuses are picky about large groups of people who aren't students congregating.

Yeah, but CW Post on a sunday shouldnt be a problem. I might check with the school.
I just think we should find someplace scenic.

I'm interested even though I'm not from the area I'll be up there anyway at that time. Saturday works best for me. If you decide on anything please keep me posted.

It would be nice if it is sunday since some people work on Saturdays. The last meet was Saturday last time and I was lucky enough to go because I didn't work due to the 95+ weather that day

my salesman puts my order in monday morning, so if my car is here by that time im down!..I live like 10 mins from the Englewood Basin.

We may be able make the weekend of the 22nd.

How about the location? Is it finalized??

If not, here is a suggestion. How about Jones Beach on Long Island. Its scenic, I guess we wouldn't have crazy beach traffic and crowds in late April and there is are huge parking areas close to the amphi theater at Jones Beach.

I read NY state park website that the parking fee is around $6-$7.

You know what would be a cool picture, if the toll booths arent open yet, there's a huge Jones Beach sign right above them and it would be cool to have all BMWs at every booth with that sign up above.

-Keep them coming...who else wants to go....we need more support for this meet....lets go people...just state if you can make it...the day that is better for you and an idea of a place...I want to be able to know who is going by 1st week of April and then take another 3-5 days to vote on location....

I could do either Sat or Sunday. Jones Beach is my first preference with Englewood Basin second. There is no parking fee at Jones Beach until memorial day weekend. Thats when it officially opens
