I LOVE it! The only disappointment is that the extra lines on the bonnet are fussy and it looks like it isn't getting the new steering wheels with the roller switches, and lack of DCT in the sedan is a BIG letdown

Other than that it is everything I hoped for and now I am looking forward to ordering my car's replacement in October

I see no mention of a 323d. I have heard people saying not until 2009, and people saying not at all. Does anyone have any solid information. I am surprised if there won't be one especially with MB bringing out the C250 CDI and the current fuel price situation.

Stewart.

Give it another year. Once the reviews all come out saying "why doesn't BMW have this on the sedan?" maybe they'll realize their mistake.

The tails adjusted to have the clear on top is SO much better than the all red. I'm not feeling the hood at all, but do like that the amber has been removed from the headlights.

Front without moustache looks fine. Don't like the tail lights, new shape look clumsy, they should have kept the current shape with LED. Hoped they had replaced the ugly navi/I-drive screen with a flip up like the 1-series, but no.....All in all I'm a bit disappointed. Lookin' forward to M-Pack pics though.

The pdf doesn't mention that ConnectedDrive is limited to specific countries. Does that mean we are getting full access to the internet with the new Idrive in the US?

they don't currently make the 335d with xDrive in Germany, so this is doubtful, otoh, if they do decide to bring the 330d over at a later date, it IS available with xDrive

34mpg (US) combined!

Torque: 330d- 384 lb-ft from 1750 to 3000, 335d- 428 from 1750 to 2250

the new 330d outperforms the 325d on fuel economy in the city, and matches its combined numbers, and outperforms by a considerable margin performance wise.

Note that all 3 of the 6 cylinder diesel engines have the same displacement.
this engine, in the touring, with xDrive....

The LCI doesn't look strikingly different... Although, wide track, more accessible driver side controls and HDD Nav are a big plus. I also hope the mirrors are going to have better coverage (although the covers are less sporty). The lack of DCT in a sedan is a very big let down!!!
