PTF 335is Lines Up with an E90 Flashed by Vishnu's OFT

Nothing fancy just thought to share my encounter with the stand alone flash by Vish

Hopefully one day we can find a FBO running the OFT E30 map for a better comparison.

Winter will be here soon in Florida so plenty of time for the tuning to mature

Just to confirm, you are comparing a FBO, DCT car with a custom e30 tune to a completely stock 6AT car running an 91oct OTS flash?

Wow. Kinda like beating up a 5th grader. OTS maps top out at stage 1 right now. What psi, timing, etc is your custom tune running? Gtfo

No Shiv, the OP was just to show how good the stand alone tune runs off the line. If you see the youtube notes its clear its nothing special.

What I am looking forward to is a FBO car running your E30 OFT OTS E30 map. You do have a FBO 335is down my side running your Procede. So if you want a comparison get with TurboSid. He has been dying to start using E30 from you for his 335is.

I ran him on the same event as the OP doing a 40 roll and he was more FBO than me

Edit: My bad the vid in the OP and following vid below was taken two days apart

Lol, I remember that roll. Tried to get you guys on video but wasn't quick enough. He started in front of you and you still passed him.

COBB and PTF for the win!

Thanks for showing some real world performance with a proper COBB tune versus an OFT. Puts things more into perspective rather than just seeing logs and happy stories from OFT users. Maybe when there is a custom tune for the OFT user, it would even things out a bit.

But, don't sell your COBB that fast.

just let u know its a IS vs I..
most 335IS with any tune and DCI can run low.. 12sec or high 11s? on a 1/4 mile.
anyway, 335IS came with the lunch control too right?

OP beat a Procede DCT car with more bolt ons than him. I think that competition is fair.

So I'm curious, what was your actual time on the slips? Et? 1/4mile trap? Anything?

LOL at this thread. After having spent all that $$$$ in tuning his car BuraQ still needs to find a car with NO physical mods to win.

I was lined up with a BMS flashed car, something happened to another car in my lane, the right lane, that advanced me forward. Never wanted to race that car from the getgo

I saw how he pulled off the line I knew right away it was running a tune. I asked the guy what he was running and he told me the Vishnu flash via OFT

335is comes with LC yes, but its much more difficult to use than people realize. A 6AT using second gear to launch has better pottential in general againt the average person with an IS. There is alot more than you think invloved in launching an IS successfully from a dig

I did a 12.1 @ 117 with a 2.1 60' , 85 degrees, 70% humidity, 1900+ DA with only 5-7 degree timing. My usual 14 degree timing got pulled due to the heat soak I was having waiting in line.

It was a PTF E40 base starter map, I am now on E50

Same night as the OP, this is the car I was inline and at war with and was unintentionally advanced due to a car in front of me got pulled out.

This car is a FULL FBO car, with exhaust work, and lighter running the BMS back end flash with JB4 map 7. It simply shows how a flash only car does against a stacked tuned car

Enjoy
