The CCC does not need any FSC for the Navigation, the Voice Control FSC codes for the CIC and CCC are different, the FSC codes are not free if you are retrofitting the CIC, there is more than just one code to enable CIC Navigation and BMW will not import the FSC codes to a used CIC or even to a new one if the car does not have the CIC from the factory.

Just an FYI...
Retrofitted CIC almost a year ago thanks to Patryk!! Had my car in for the fuel pump recall and they reprogrammed my whole car with no issues at all. My CIC got updated to the current version which I'm very happy about (no more shopping cart bug). ![]() Couldn't be happier!! Thanks Patryk!!!! -Rich

Ummmm... so only MY2009+ non-iDrive can accept the CIC retrofit without dealer coding issues. That's great to know.
![]() My MY2008 could not... it showed an error with the controller, the display and the CIC and aborted the update. Quote:

Would make sense, since I think the 09's had the CICs as an option....if not the modules should be the same anyway

Are 2008 people who are doing the retrofit keeping their old CCC units because of the dealer coding issues?

I've got a May 2007 E92 335 with iDrive. Can someone tell me if I can update to the latest version CiC? If yes, what do I need and how much can I expect to pay?

The TCU sits in the trunk under the trunk lining. Since you have an 06, you should have the blue connector cables as well as the MOST (green/black) cables under there. You need to move some wires in the distribution block under the driver's side rear bolster (search the forums for BT retrofit, many posts on how to do this).

Hello guys, I did the retrofit of the CIC with its encoding on my E92 2007,
I wanted to ask because I do not see the climate control in the iDrive menu, you can activate it via coding, or do I need to buy the climate control of 'LCI?
