Does Zaino keep?
How long after you've mixed Z-5 or Z-2 with ZfX is it still useable? Can I leave the leftover mixture overnight and apply it in the morning? What happens if I do?

Nothing wrong with it, it keeps a while!

The Zaino site sez: "For optimum results, use ZFX™ within 6 hours of mixing."
Re the more general question of lifespan, on the bimmerfest board there is a report of the ZFX Flash Cure Accelerator Additive having a shelf life of ~ 18 months. (Search for a thread titled "Zaino Question".) The Zaino site says the vial of ZFX yields 16-20 oz of polish. I suppose it depends on how much polish you use in 18 months to gauge if the life span of the ZFX is shorter than that of the Z2. I'm trying to decide whether to 'go Zaino' or stay with a more traditional carnuba approach. choices choices! ![]() |
