just straight, because I didnt want to have to hack up the internals, since the current design allows for no cutting, and complete reversablility.

EDIT: actually, its not straight, its slightly towards the driver, because the molded protective foam rubber on the insde that re-directs airflow away from the gauge and protects from heat/cold/condensation.

Rix that looks absolutely fantastic! I like the integrated look so much better on this design and I am very much looking forward this upgrade soon!

On a side note, can we purchase another vent so we would still have the vent control and do whatever hack was needed to the spare unit?

Wow--any chance you would do this for the 135 as well?

Very nice!

Thanks!

the control to open and close the vent still works, but you can give that a try if you want, it would probably be possible... I am just not looking to have to buy OEM parts.

Now someone just needs to get the software for the iDrive that'll display boost, water temp, EGT, A/F...etc like on the Skyline GTR

Find me a process to flash the iDrive, the source for the iDrive software, a development environment, and the applicable compiler then I'll get right on it....

however, in the meantime RiX's new boost gauge is perfect!
