I placed an order on March 10 and made some changes on March 24, will exits production today April 7th, I have ordered 330i, SG, Beige, PP, SP and Auto.

My car was finished today (April 7). I ordered a 330 in Sparkling Graphite, Beige Leather, Poplar Wood Trim, Premium Pkg., Automatic, Navigation, Heated Seats, & Satellite Radio Prewire. Car is supposed to be to me in mid-May.

First of all, I have been lurking for the past week or two, so this is my first post.

I ordered my 330i on 3/9/05 with the following specs:
Manual Transmission (a must)
SG
Black Leather
Aluminum Trim
Premium Pkg
Sport Pkg
Cold Weather Pkg (I know you're asking why heated seats in So. Cal, but my wife would not compromise. Besides I need the fold down seat because my bike travels with me 95% of the time.)

So basically I didn't get I-Drive, Active Steering, Active Cruise, & PDC.

The car is out of production and awaiting transport. I hope to take delivery of it sometime in the middle of May. I can't wait.

Wow...I'm not surprised, but it looks like there will be a heck of a lot of SG E90's on the road soon.
I'm thinking about doing Arctic / Terra / Aluminum for something different. Sure would like to see this combo in person before commiting though!
My local dealership will have their first 330's in about 2 weeks. I simply gotta test drive for driving position, seat fit and ride quality before ordering one. I have no doubts about handling and overall performance, but the other things are just too subjective to not experience first hand before making a $47K decision.
In the meantime I'll have to make do with what will hopefully become my new E90's slightly older sibling:

Ordered just today 4/5/05 and left a $500 deposit, the dealer said it should arrive by mid-June. He also said I can see the step by step status of the car with the BMW Owner's circle website. Here is what I got:

I didn't get the active steering because I don't want my driving style to change and I didn't get active cruise control because it came with the standard cruise control and I don't use it that often. It all came out to $46,470 usd, but I have a friend at BMW who can get me a little over cost and some free accessories.

Hey guz, just spoke to me saleman from BMW and he said my order will be here the end of may....Becuase someone who ordered close to the same car as mine backed out, they just have to add a few options when in production. It starts production next week and should be completed by 3 weeks. He said then they should get it by the end of May!! This Rocks!!!

I ordered mine I guess about two or three weeks ago and I just checked the BMW's owner's circle web site and it says my car is past production and is awaiting transport! I still haven't been given a date of when I can get it, but it's still exciting to know the car is finished somewhere in deutschland.
