Anyone in san diego wanna help a lil lady out?

I bought some xenon blubs and well, i dont know how to install them. I went to a bmw shop and the idiot told me that he would have to remove some vent in my engine, an hour of labor, and $80! Its just high/low beams and fogs. Would anyone be willing to do a girl a favor? And as soon as possible would be great. I have class till 5pm tomorrow, and friday im free until 4. Thanks guys!

im in mission bay/clairemont area

there's a diy section if i'm not wrong...dunno if anyone here have tried changing the bulbs in halos..i guess $80 is reasonable, at least if anythin goes wrong, u can always go back and blame the guy..just make sure ur bulb has the same wattage as the oem bulb...i believe its 55watt, someone double check for me please

hot chicks can get absolutely everything for free. I'm sure there are many guys in SD that would give you the $80 in exchange for a date! LOL

Im also available saturday morning/afternoon, but patience is a virtue i lack... I was thinking of meeting at the shell station near my house. Could anyone help me save $80 and the pain of finding a place to do it. I would feel more comfortable if someone who HAS a bmw worked on it. They are the H7 blubs with a fogs also.

If I asked for help I'd probably get a kick in the pants.

But I'd still trade some work for dinner if I was oh, say 1000miles SW of here.

Yeah, I clicked on this thread looking for a deluge of offers... people offering to come on over faster than a toddler to the candy bars at the supermarket checkout!

Are you serious theres nobody there that can faaking put in a bulb. Start a thread how many yuppies in SD does it take to put in a light bulb. If you cant find anyone I have a buddy in SD hes an older guy but I learnt alot from the old coot we used to strip porsche's down on the daily.

But hot or not If hes doin the favor I doubt he will have the time to fit your schedule and drive out to you.

Your best bet is print the DIY and you may surprise yourself or hand it to the first compatent guy you know maybe a brother?

Later

If I leave now.. I can probably be there by Saturday morning.. driving straight thru.

I'm surprised there aren't a legion of followers jumping at the "opportunity" to help this particular gal out.

i don't think it's about willingness to do it as it is about ability to do it.

I'd do it, but it won't be anytime soon because of my schedule. Maybe in two weeks?

you dont get "Xenon" bulbs in H7 ?

Whaterver you got would just be standard or slighly uprated halogen bulbs.
Some places advertise thm as Xenon, but they are not the same thing as "Xenon HID" lights

What make and model buls did you buy ?

Also, its not a quick and easy job to replace them.
Best way would be to remove the front wheels and wheelarches to get access to the back of the lights

Also hope you know your fogs are H11 and not H7
