1.5 ton aluminum racing jack
Torin 1.5 ton aluminum racing jack. As new. Used it once to switch out winter tires. Worked very well, but I now have a winter car and will no longer need it.
Details and picture at Costco website where I bought it: http://www.costco.com/Browse/Product...lang=en-US&s=1 $60, plus $15 shipping. PM me if interested. |

but my question is this.. is 1.5 tons enough? doesn't that equate to approx. 3,000 lbs. and our cars weigh around 3,500 lbs? just wanted to make sure the jack could support our plump little machines

good point.. shiz.. but it work w/ no prob.. maybe jack it up and put some blocks underneath it.. but really it felt strong.. and you'll be lifting part of the car not the whole car.. weight is spread.. no?

that is a nice jack, never knew costco had them. for others looking for a quality aluminum racing jack, try craftsman. they often have sales. some have a 3" height, so lowered cars generally aren't a problem....
