Wait a sec here - you have to remove the bumper to get the headlamps out?

I just completed this today. here are some more pictures just in case anyone needs.

Tools used for bumper and headlight removal
Ratchet
6 inch extension
8mm socket
10mm socket (for the 2 plastic nuts on driver side wheel well)
90 degree driver
T30 torx bit

BUMPER REMOVAL

HEADLIGHT REMOVAL

This one was a tight squeeze. Surely it would be easier if the wheels were removed.

This one is a PITA! It took me a 6" extension and 90 degree driver to get it out.

Wow, it would be tempting to just leave that last one out.

Excellent thread. Thank you! Is this the only way to replace the inner bulb? Trying to replace bulbs was the first "project" I undertook and I realized about an hour in I was goign to have to remove the bumper et al to get at what I need to get at. It was a bit advanced for me at the time. I'm getting more comfortable with working on things and am seriously sick of having headlights and halos burned out.
