I used falken for a long time on my previous cars. Great performance and all but threads seems to wear out pretty fast.

Why would you want to short change yourself You have a $50k car. Invest in some quality (Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 ZP)tires

LOL I wonder what you think about most members here buying Generals?

Honestly Falken's especially the FK452 is a great tire for it's price, way better than Generals that's for sure.

i have them on my car right now and also have T1r's on my other set of wheels. To compare the two, it's a toss up, but imho i like the toyo's a bit more in terms of grip. Road noise is less with the Falkens however.

It really also depends what you're looking for in a tire. What's most important to you. Road noise, grip, wet weather, tread life etc.

I've only used Falken RT615 and the old RT215 tires. Good experiences with both. Great price and lots of grip. one of the grippest street tires available. Bridgestone RE01R and Dunlop Direzza Star Spec are the only tires that might meet/exceed the grip of the RT615

+1. I had the Mich PS2s; the rears wore out at 18k mi. (but I replaced all 4) and yes, they were very good. BUT, as a replacement for the Mich PS2s, I chose a set of 4 new Falken FK-452s, and I have to say that after 13k+mi. on them so far, I am happier with these tires than the more expensive Mich PS2s. The Falkens seem to have as good (or dare I say better ) dry grip than the PS2s, and after 13k+mi. on the them, even the rears look NEW!!!!

A set of Falken FK-452s are > $400 less than the Mich PS2s, and a much better bang for your buck, imho.

Interesting... I think all that shows is the PS2 doesn't have much grip. RT615 is the fast Falken tire not FK452

The Michelin PS2s are considered to be the best high performance, summer tire; they come as oem tires on the new E90/92 M3. But, in my experience, I've found that the Falken FK-452s beat them out in dry tire grip (wet??? not sure...maybe pretty close) and tire wear...for >$400 less/set of 4. Just my experience though; others may be quite different. Either way, I don't think anyone could go wrong with either the Mich PS2s or Falken FK-452s.
