How to Roll Fenders- A Bimmette DIY video

I got new summer tires but they would rub when going over bumps or if I had a heavy passenger. So yesterday I borrowed a fender rolling tool (thanks jackp0t ) and rolled the fenders in the rear just a tiny bit. It was a fun tool to use!

Thanks! I had never seen a fender roller before so I thought others would be interested in seeing how it worked.

Good vid Tara! Interesting that you rolled the whole arch. Did you inspect the arch to see where the tire was actually rubbing? Only ask because I found mine was rubbing only on a very small area towards the rear of the arch. So I only had that small area rolled (minimising possible paint damage). Just a thought...

I couldn't see where it was rubbing as it was really minor and the tires just recently were put on. I know I didn't really have to roll towards the front, but it was just easier to see the difference there for the video.

Nice job!
You made it look so easy, but I know from rolling my e36 M3 rear fenders that it takes some muscle to move the arm back and forth with enough pressure to roll the lip.
