SSTT + Helene streamline filter = ?
Guys, I was wondering if I add a Helene filter with my SSTT, how much more power will I get it? is it worth it? Are there better aftermarket streamline filters then Helene?
Thanx |

yea i agree wont see too much of a difference between drop in panel filters, but a little bit over the stock drop in with the aftermarket.
more people just go straight to a CAI or dual cone type filters. |

I have SSTT installed and am waiting for my Helene drop-in filter. I was contemplating about getting a BMS dual cone or AFE dual cone, but I decided to take the drop-in filter route because it's just much easier.
I am also thinking about getting the scoops which will divert more air to the intake. |

It's always a good idea to remove these mods, especially if you're leasing. The scoops could yield more power because they feed in more air to your intake (kind of like a cold air intake effect). The faster you're traveling, more air will be diverted to your intake. Even though I haven't put one on, they seem relatively easy to install/remove comparing to the intake. In general, the process is just unscrew a few screws, put the scoops in place, and re-screw them. As far as I know, there are three scoops for our E9x. Swoop Scoops - $108 RPI Scoops - $179 require to drill holes AFE - no information released yet I will probably just go with Swoop Scoops for practicality. |

Your warranty will only be voided if it causes damage. I have a good relationship with my SA and my car has a CAI and i've taken it in for service with no probs
