Okay here we go.

For the past 2 days ive gotten this struggling to start sound when i start the car. Only happened 2 times so i blew it off, didnt pay it any mind. I was getting onto the highway tonight and as i get onto the highway and get into 5th gear my car just tripps out and goes into limp mode....the tranny and SEL light came on and the car wouldnt go into anything higher than 2nd. I managed to make it to the side of the highway, turned the car off for a minute or so and then restarted it. No lights, no limp mode. WTF happened?! What really sucks is that i JUST picked it up from the dealer 3 hours prior to this happening.

So guys, what could be my problem. 2008 e92 335 with 5.2K miles 6MT completely stock engine.

Do i need a new fuel pump or something...or is it from hard driving...or what...

HPFP problem wont allow u to shift to 3rd? never heard that and u hv the 6MT too......

uhhh it probably did go into 3rd but i was just going nuts when it happened.

i ran the c reader and it said cylinder 2 and 5 are misfiring...dealer cant see it till monday

Could be bad spark plugs..........but sounds like fuel pump do to the rough start ups........
