Thumbs up Dinan Coupon Clipper/Kool Aid Drinker

Well I decided to take Dinan up on their 20% rebate. The new exhaust sounds great with the top down and no drone at speed. With the top up, I noticed a slightly deeper exhaust note. With the Dinan Stage II software I put in last spring, the car is a blast to drive top up or top down. I guess you could say I am a Dinan kool aid drinker. The only question left is do I but the Dinan intercooler while it is 20% off before the sale ends? Yes, I have tasted the Dinan kool aid ... and it is good.

Your exhaust is out of alignment.

I thought that there would some anal retentive types out there that would say something to that effect. I too, am a borderline anal retentive type. Nonetheless, I believe it is good enough for me. Thanks for your input.

Don't think the sale includes the IC.

*Offer valid on 335 exhausts, suspension systems (stage 1-3), oil cooler and a complete set of wheels only.

Good catch, you are right. Sale does not include the intercooler, my bad. Well, Dinan generally has some promotion going on. I'll just have to wait until it is the intercooler's turn. Thanks.

IMO the Dinan exhaust does sound pretty decent on the 335. My only real complaint is that the tips are really cheesy.

Yes, I still have the stock runflats. I will probably change them out after they are shot. I am not a dyno kind of guy, it is plenty fast enough for me.

I know several of you appear to be critical (ex nuke joke) of the Califonia plate over the ED plate. However, everytime I look at it, it reminds of:

1. Going down the autobahn at 150 mph
2. Cruising Lauterbrunnen Valley in Switzerland with the top down on a warm October day with the leaves changing color.
3. A couple of big ones at Oktoberfest in Munich.
4. The overall great experience of a BMW European Delivery!

So it may be wacked but ....oh well.

I put mine in my garage and over a vent in the chicken house. Keeps it more personal.

5 yrs active (CVN, West Coast) and 5 yrs reserves. When I first applied for the Veteran Plate it was rejected as being controversial. I got it when I appealed the decision. It has been a while since I have been out but a great experience nonetheless.
