What Octane Rating Vishnu PROcede should I Run???

I found the following information on Wikipedia, and wondered what octane rating of Vishnu PROcede I would need to go for if I was using 99 RON UK fuel???

In the United States, all motor vehicle gasoline is unleaded and is available in several grades, which are differentiated by octane rating: 87 (Regular), 89 (Mid-Grade), and 93 (Premium)

Fuels in the U.S. are described in terms of their "pump octane", which is the mean of their "RON" (Research Octane Number) and "MON" (Motor Octane Number). Labels on gasoline pumps in the U.S. typically describe this as the "(R+M)/2 Method".

Some nations describe fuels according to the traditional RON or MON ratings, so octane ratings cannot always be compared with the equivalent U.S. rating by the "(R+M)/2 method".

In the UK, the most common petrol grade (and lowest octane generally available) is premium 95 RON unleaded. 'Super' is widely available at 97 RON and some large brands offer 98 - 99 RON fuel as a premium product costing up to 10% more than standard 'premium' fuel (for example Shell V-Power or BP Ultimate). Greenergy supply 99 RON Super Unleaded to Tesco services.

The procede isn't available for specific fuel grades. You simply choose the map and user torque settings based on the octane you're running and weather conditions. If you can get 91 or higher octane (whatever that equates to there) you should be okay with a stage 0 map with user torque around 80%.

The best answer is to always use the highest octane available. Typically 99 oct is the highest grade we see available in most european countries.

Hey Dustin...what up?

Isn't the rule of thumb that you can adjust your Procede setting to 1 notch higher then your octane? so for instance I run 92 octane, so I can adjust my Procede setting to 93%?

According to Shiv:

"All v3 maps have a default User Torque setting of 80%. It is recommended that you drive on this setting for at least a few days before you raise it. Those running on 91oct shouldn't exceed 85%. On 93-94oct, one can potentially go as high as 90%."

Right....but I'm not sure the op is referring to V3.....although he probably is. I was referring to V2, which I'm still not 100% sure about the settings guidlines. i'm sure I've read it a bunch of times, but I can't remember.
