yup... turning the car off with the clutch in and havent heard it since... except if your trying to shift at very low speeds -_- no tricks for that i guess... people always think i destroyed my clutch and i have to explain to them

It is the dual mass setup and setup of the flywheel and pressure plate. If the clutch is depressed, it will make zero noise as others have already mentioned.
Its normal. The sound is a result of the motor being shut down or spun at a extremely low speed (normally experienced by stalling or engine shut down) where the inertial mass of the system is going in its intended direction, and once it comes to a stop, the internal springs of the dual mass "cocks back" and makes a rattle type of sound. |
