Hey guys. I'm going to be in Hawaii from October 8th til the 12th.

08-Oct Kailua Kona, Hawaii
09-Oct Hilo, Hawaii
10-Oct Lahaina (Maui), Hawaii
11-Oct Lahaina (Maui), Hawaii
12-Oct Honolulu (Oahu), Hawaii

what are some cool things to do besides the obvious go to the beach and check the volcanoes out? i've never been to hawaii before (obviously) and want to know what are some of the cool things to do/check out. thanks!

Locomoco is a plate that consist of over easy egg on a beef patty laid over hot rice and topped with gravy!! Many japanese tourist go crazy over it.

Kona is my home town ... While there, I would jet ski at the pier where you will dock at and (or) walk down Ali’i drive because you’ll only have half the day there. Really not much to do there.
Hilo ... You should book a tour to go to the volcano because it is really active now!!
Maui ... Relax and enjoy the beach and maybe hit a luau!!
Oahu ... Go shopping. It is the most commercialized out of all other islands. You should hit up Ala Moana Shopping center. It is the biggest shopping center in the state of Hawaii (337 store and restaurants)

Get the "101 things to do" You can find it on the streets downtown or they should have it at the Aloha Tower where the boat docks.

Don't go and buy everything at the Tower since it is over priced. Go to the stadium as mentioned. It is open on the weekends and Wed I believe. If you get the chance go to Tantulus at night and see downtown. Pretty cool. I liked the shark dive at North Shore. Reservations if you can or just go to the pier and see if you can hop on. Nothing like swimming with a bunch of sharks!

There are plenty if you look in the right places. Just go to the Ala Moana mall and just walk around and you will see. Too bad there is not a car show that weekend.
