Heavy is an understatement. My girlfriend works for Microstrategy and damn if it doesn't take forever + a day to get to the Beltway during the holidays.

Heavy traffic applies everywhere in the DC Metro area, holiday season or not, no?

Never paid attention. The traffic in that area during Christmas is worse then usual. To go from her bldg 2 the Bway can take almost 30 min. It makes u want to give ur car some Red Bull to give it wiiiiiiiiings.
