To powdercoat, or not to powdercoat... that is the question
So I'm debating whether or not to powdercoat my rims matte/satin black. GF says NO! but I wanted my fellow E9xers' opinion.

Assuming that is a cast wheel, DO NOT powdercoat it. You will eventually crack the wheel if you powder coat a cast wheel. It will weaken the wheel by altering the molecular structure of the wheel due to the heat required to cure the powdercoat.
If you want to change the color of the wheel, paint it. my vote is: No, do not powder coat it, YES, paint it black! ![]()

Do it backwards, powdercoat the lip, leave the spokes alone.
