What is your winter setup? powdercoating stock wheels/what tires?

I had Michelin Pilot Alpin Sport's on my WRX and thought they were great, so i see no reason to switch it up and get anything else. I'm going to order these for the ole' 335xi and have my stock wheels powdercoated black. These wheels will be my official winter wheels as of this winter:

what are you guys doing?

The only winter tires that come in the staggared stock sizes that are runflat are the Pirelli Sottozero's.

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/Sizes....+240+Sottozero

So that is what I am running this year. Stock 189 18" rims. They aren't cheap, but I like the runflat security.

Well I have the stock 162's so I have to find something in an 18 inch. I was looking at the blizzak's, but I'm unsure still. I'm not sure if I want to powercoat the stock 162's just yet. Maybe after a few more harsh winters they'll need to be refinished.

I have been running the good year Eagle F1 All Seasons on 19' Enkei Racing wheels-for speed during summer. Going back to stock wheels /Bridgestones for winter--they seemed just fine last winter.

Just ordered a set of ContiWinterContact TS 810 Sport's to install on my stock 189s.
Went with the stock tyre size so:
Front 225/40-18
Rear 255/35-18

We don't get too much snow here in Vancouver so I went with more of a "performance" winter tyre to handle the dry and wet. I'm sure x-drive with these tyres will be more than enough to get my up to the lifts on the weekends. I hope.

For the past two winters and now going into the third, I've been using a set of Dunlop Winter Sport M3 runflats in 225/45/17 on 17x8" E39 M5 reps.

I went with dedicated Sport Edition A7's and Conti TS810's for my setup. 225/45-17. Thinking I'll sell my stock rims soon and have some 19's for summer!
