the only thing i hate about the LCI's now is there 1 exhaust tip, thats really ugly and even hated while it was on the clk 350's. it looks really bad, the dual tip looked better IMHO.

what are you talking about? 328i still has dual tips! only the 4-cylinder models have single exhaust tip.

The space gray looks great to me, now that I've seen it, I am not regretting the selection

BMW really worked on some great designs for smaller wheel diameters

in the past they have had extremely bad taste when it comes to 17" wheels.. they definitely improved that aspect of the '09 sedans

I really can't tell the difference from the old trim, maybe I just never noticed.

The that I have coming is the same sans ZSP, and has 285 wheels.

Thanks a lot. Doesn't seem much different than the old style, except for the top maybe - it looks as if the top is brushed vertically instead of horizontally. Is that correct? I don't recall the old one being like that...

Regards.

Yep. As I said in previous posts, the facelift is better on the wagon. This one is with the mtech sport package. I find the front bumper even better without it (but the rear is better with it).

The new alum trim is brighter than the previous one.

Danke! Your English is just fine! A lot better than my German.

That seems like a cool feature. Mmm toasty hands.

The difference between the "fine-line" aluminum trim and the previous "brushed" aluminum trim is difficult to capture in a picture. The best I can describe it is that the etchings on the new trim are not as deep as the previous version, so the trim appears somewhat brighter and the patterns do not catch shadows as readily. At certain sun angles, the new trim can cause a fair bit of glare, which I didn't often see attributed to the brushed version.

The top edge of the main trim piece is etched vertically, creating a transition which I am still not certain I am fond of.

The jury is still out on any improvements in durability--it has held up well to two days of use thus far.
